Simlogic introduces SkillupVR medical simulation platform
Gothenburg-based Simlogic has introduced SkillupVR, an innovative medical simulation platform designed to enhance clinical training through immersive, interactive experiences. SkillupVR empowers healthcare professionals with customisable medical scenarios, a virtual simulation center, and real-time performance tracking to improve critical decision-making and teamwork.
Originally a pilot project with two hospitals in Singapore just before the COVID-19 pandemic, the platform has evolved and been rigorously tested by more than 20 healthcare and educational institutions across Europe and Asia, demonstrating its adaptability and effectiveness in complex medical training.
Several institutions have now adopted the technology as part of their curriculum.
Simlogic has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a major private hospital group in Germany to integrate VR into its medical training programs. Additionally, a grant from Vinnova, Sweden’s innovation agency, will support the expansion of SkillupVR for military medical training, further broadening its applications in high-stakes environments.
With the global VR medical simulation market projected to grow from USD 954.6 million in 2022 to USD 8.5 billion by 2031*, demand for cost-effective, high-quality training solutions is rising. To support this growth, Simlogic has appointed distributors and agents in Germany, Italy, Norway, the Asia-Pacific region, and the Middle East.
Petter Wolff at CO-AX Accelerator at Sahlgrenska Science Park, comments, “Our CO-AX Accelerator member Simlogic, with their immersive and scalable product SkillupVR, is showing the path to a future of continuous training and education in healthcare. We’re proud and excited to support their growth and global impact.”
Simlogic AB remains committed to expanding SkillupVR capabilities and growing its global user base in the coming year.
